Species Name: Helichrysum italicum G. Don (H. angustifolium D.C.) (Immortelle), Asterac.
Synonyms: Italian Everlasting, Imoretelle
Part Used: Flowering Top
Method of Extraction: Steam distillation

Color: Pale Golden Yellow
Aroma: Strong. Herbaceous, warm, honey like, fresh maple sugar scent
Blends well with citrus oils orange, grapefruit, mandarin. Useful as a sleep aid with chamomile, lavender and rose. Adds a fruity honey and fresh note to any blend.
Helichrysum oil is also reputed to be an uplifting, spiritual oil. This oil is just as versatile as Lavender oil. It is a wonderful oil to add in small amounts to any blend. (Should not be used on children under 12, or while pregnant)
Common Uses :
*Abscesses, acne, burns, cuts, wounds, muscle pain.
*Cosmetic Uses: dermatitis, eczema, irritated skin
