Overall Scent: Sweet-spicy, herbaceous, peppery, somewhat resembling clove and cinnamon, slightly woody, powerful and exotic, warm.

A massage in Cinnamon oil is like wrapping a warm towel around yourself, as it has a warming effect. It can take the chill off on the coldest winter day. This is especially useful if you are recovering from illness. Cinnamon oil has an uplifting effect, and warms the spirit as it calms feelings of isolation, fear and tension.
Use Suggestions: Combine Cinnamon oil with massage oil or Jojoba to increase circulation and relieve tense muscles. Use on a hot compress for a nice warm facial. Can also be diluted and used as a mouthwash, as Cinnamon oil also has antiseptic properties. Add a few drops to a hot bath for a relaxing restorative getaway.

General Tips: Not appropriate for sensitive skin. Undiluted essential oils in their purest state are extremely potent, and should be blended with a carrier oil or other medium prior to use directly on the skin, as the essential oil may cause irritation.
