Aromatherapy grade Cedarwood essential oil (cedrus deodara) is best used as a regenerative oil. Cedarwood essential oil a cleansing general tonic. Cedarwood oil is well known as a cystitis treatment, and is a natural remedy for chest infections, urinary infections, acne and asthma. Pure Cedarwood Aromatherapy Essential oil is also considered an aphrodisiac oil as it is grounding and inspiring at the same time.
Our cedrus deodara oil is pale yellowish orange in color, and is imported from India.

Overall Scent: Dry/woody aroma, very subtle and noble, with a hint of spice. Cedarwood essential oil has a very spiritual, light, transcended note and many people upon first smelling this oil think they are sampling a sophisticated blend of oils. Properties: Aromatherapy properties of cedar wood oil include warming, uplifting, and toning. Comforting and reviving. Confidence building. Long lasting, acts as a fixative (slows down the evaporation in which it binds with). Considered an aphrodisiac as it is grounding and inspiring at the same time. Use Suggestions: Place a tissue with a few drops of cedarwood oil in your closet as well as your empty cedar wood bottles. Great in most blends, Cedar wood oil gives them a spirited note, while helping them to last longer. Blends well with citrus oils, giving them a base note that very nicely complements them. Blends well with: Flower Oils: Chamomile, Jasmine, Lavender, Neroli, Vetiver, Ylang Ylang, Melissa Herb Oils: Sweet Basil, Palmarosa, Rosemary Leaf/Cone/Needle Oils: Eucalyptus, Patchouli, Petitgrain, Cypress Peel Oils: Bergamot, Grapefruit, Lemon, Lime, Mandarin, Orange, Tangerine Contraindications: Avoid during pregnancy. Undiluted essential oils in their purest state are extremely potent, and should be blended with a carrier oil or other medium prior to use directly on the skin, as the essential oil may cause irritation.
