Camphor Oil ~ cinnamomum camphora ~ Imported from China Our Camphor oil is a first distillation therapeutic, undiluted, 100% pure essential oil.
Our Camphor oil is nearly colorless and slightly yellow oil of Cinnamomum Camphora.
Overall Scent: Camphor oil aroma is spicy, herbal and mothball-like, fresh, clean and very piercing.
Properties: Camphor Oil of Cinnamomum camphora, steam distilled (wood). Analgesic, antidepressant, antiseptic, and antispasmodic. Camphor Oil Sedates nervy types particularly when associated with depression.
Use Suggestions: Camphor oil Warms and cools the body where necessary. Camphor Oil is helpful with stiff muscles. It is cooling on the skin and, therefore, reduces inflammatory conditions. Camphor Oil Blends well with basil, cajeput and chamomile.

Leaf/Cone/Needle Oils: Cajeput
General Tips: Camphor is a very powerful oil. Use in small doses, as too much could cause convulsions, and vomiting. Should be avoided in pregnancy, people suffering from epilepsy, asthma and high blood pressure and babies. Undilluted essential oils in their purest state are extremely potent, and should be blended with a carrier oil or other medium prior to use directly on the skin, as the essential oil may cause irritation.
