This essential oil is a first distillation therapeutic grade 100% pure essential oil.

Overall Scent : Intensely sweet rich floral scent. Similar to the scent of Jasmine.

Properties: Organic Ylang Ylang Oil (Cananga Odorata) seduces the senses and relaxes the mind. Its exotic, spicy aroma has been said to be an aphrodisiac ; the perfect tonic for the bedroom.

Ylang Ylang Essential Oil takes over 14 hours to distill, and various grades are produced during that distillation period; Ylang Ylang I, II, & III. The left over plant material is used to make the inferior Cananga Oil III. The Ylang Ylang Oil offered here, is the very best of these oils.

Use Suggestions : A great note to add to any blend, to give it a wonderfully full fragrance. As a relaxation aid Ylang Ylang essential oil reduces stress and tension, and helps to relieve feelings of frustration, anger and sadness. If you are about to rest add a few drops of Ylang Ylang Oil to a tissue and inhale or add to a diffuser. To add essential oils to a bath, blend with a tiny bit of half and half, honey, or vinegar before adding to the water (thi helps the droplets to dissolve in the water and not float concentrated at the surface).

General Tips: Undiluted essential oils in their purest state are extremely potent, and should be blended with a carrier oil or other medium prior to use directly on the skin, as the essential oil may cause irritation. Use this Oil in moderation.
