Properties: Rosemary calms apprehension while stimulating the spirit. Rosemary is very much a yang oil, in that it provides stability and structure during times of emotional volatility. This essential oil is a wonderful remedy for many spiritual and emotional ailments, and is a must have in your collection. Also great to stimulate the scalp and aids in healthy hair growth.
Use Suggestions :
Stimulate the central nervous system with a massage. Mix Rosemary with lemongrass, grapefruit, or lemon oils to stimulate the mind. For balancing effects, try mixing Rosemary Essential Oil with clary sage or bergamot. If you are studying for an exam, or need to enhance memory while learning, place a few drops of Rosemary in a diffuser with another oil such as juniper berry or frankincense. Take advantage of rosemary's antiseptic properties using an aroma lamp or air spray. Combine 3 drops of Rosemary to 1 drop juniper, and 1/2 ounce of almond oil. Add this to a warm bath, or compress, or use as a massage oil. This will warm up extremities on even the coldest winter day.

Undilluted essential oils in their purest state are extremely potent, and should be blended with a carrier oil or other medium prior to use directly on the skin, as the essential oil may cause irritation.
