Eucalyptus oil Properties: The use and benefit of Eucalyptus essential oil is long standing and has stood the test of time. Both western and eastern medicine have used eucalyptus for its support of the respiratory system, and it is a popular ingredient in cough and throat medicines as well as chest ointments.
Eucalyptus oil Use Suggestions: Use in a diffuser to freshen, 2-3 drops to a bowl of hot water to inhale the fragrant steam or use it in the sauna/steam bath. For scenting body care products, using 5-10 drops of Eucalyptus oil per ounce of body care product is the general rule of thumb.

General Tips: Never ingest Eucalyptus oil, very toxic orally. Keep away from children even small amounts may be toxic. Undiluted essential oils in their purest state are extremely potent, and should be blended with a carrier oil or other medium prior to use directly on the skin, as the oil may cause irritation.
