It is completely clear, colorless and odorless and will remain liquid at all temperature. Studies have shown coconut oil to be antiviral and antibacterial, which further adds to the appeal of this carrier oil. This liquid form of coconut oil can be used in creams, lotions, bath oils, bath salts and soap. It is especially useful in face creams where a light oil is desired and is a good substitute for sweet almond oil if you are concerned about rancidity or a short shelf life. This oil is also a good replacement for pricey and hard to obtain Jojoba Oil! This fixed oil is a highly versatile carrier oil which can be used with essential oils to create a superb moisturizing agent while helping to heal damaged skin.
