Liquid COCONUT Oil is the perfect carrier oil as is will not go rancid like other carrier oils because of the saturated fat content. It is completely clear, colorless and odorless and will remain liquid at all temperature. Studies have shown coconut oil to be antiviral and antibacterial, which further adds to the appeal of this carrier oil. This liquid form of coconut oil can be used in creams, lotions, bath oils, bath salts and soap. It is especially useful in face creams where a light oil is desired and is a good substitute for sweet almond oil if you are concerned about rancidity or a short shelf life. This oil is also a good replacement for pricey and hard to obtain Jojoba Oil! This fixed oil is a highly versatile carrier oil which can be used with essential oils to create a superb moisturizing agent while helping to heal damaged skin.

Uses of Fractionated Coconut Oil:

  • Massage Oil base: forms a barrier against infections, softens and moisturizes your skin, and prevents wrinkling, sagging, and age spots. It washes out of massage table sheets easily with no staining.
  • Excellent emollient that provides a smooth and silky feel to products.
  • Great for EO Blends: Highly shelf stable - will not go rancid for exceptionally long periods like Jojoba Oil (but is much less expensive and easier to obtain)
  • Natural perfumers oil - it is the lightest of carrier oils and will pass through a pump sprayer
  • Soluable with essential oils and compatible with soaps

Using aromatherapy massage oils in a massage treatment, allows you to deeply penetrate the muscles and relieve tension at the same time. In addition, massage oils and carrier oils are used to evenly distribute the essential oil essences, as well as lessening the chance of irritation or sensitization.
