In general, French Lavender is inhaled for sadness, depression, anxiety, tension, panic or hysteria and insomnia and can be applied topically to heal wounds and minor burns, eczema, dermatitis, relief from insect bites and inflammatory conditions. Use lavender oil in a bath for muscle spasms, relaxation, and fatigue. Hot or cold compress can be used with lavender oil for rashes, headache, migraines, arthritis and muscle spasms.
