Lemongrass Oil is a commonly used essential oil in aromatherapy as a cellulite remedy (depurative), as a fly, flea and tick repellant (insect repellent), and as a treatment for oily skin and hair (astringent). The essential oil that comes from the grass of Cymbopogon citratus is antiseptic, and antibacterial. When inhaled, Lemongrass oil can act as a sedative to the nervous system and helps to relieve nervous disorders. The scent is very strong and a little oil goes a long way.
